Software update history

Before we get into this month’s updates, we would like to say thank you for being part of this amazing journey. We continue to make significant investments across product, engineering, and support, including further improvements to ChiroFusion's speed and reliability. In this latest update, we bring you the following improvements. 

ERA Enhancements
It's now easier than ever to work with ERAs. When a new check is posted, you'll be taken straight to the posting screen so you can better manage the check and close it. We've also enlarged the ERA fonts and removed the confirmation message to help speed things up.

Reverting & Editing Checks
Gone are the days of reverting multiple checks to fix an allowed amount on a patient who doesn't have a secondary check posted. You now have the ability to make simple edits to dates of service on a patient's last posted check. If there's a need to revert multiple checks, you can now see which checks and which patients are blocking you from reverting. This allows you to fix exactly what you need without having to go back and forth.

Multiple Authorization Numbers
This update allows you to save multiple authorizations to a patient's account and associate them with a specific case.

Patient Reports
Brand-new reports in ChiroFusion that are sure to help you manage your practice more effectively. We all know that Patient Communication is crucial when running your practice. Whether you want to send out a newsletter with what's happening in the office or send a happy birthday card, having easily accessible patient lists are essential. We have now made it even easier to achieve a connection with your patients! The new Patient Reports allow you to filter in different ways to narrow down your lists to whom you need.

Face Sheet
Our new Face Sheet feature offers a quick & easy way to generate a demographic page to use when referring patients to other providers. The Face Sheet will include demographics, insurance information, diagnosis codes, and a customized note.

In this latest update, we bring you the following enhancements. All reports can now be generated for up to a year and exported as a PDF or Excel file. The Scheduler now includes the option to create Events. This feature is perfect for scheduling lunch breaks, office meetings, or days off for a specific provider. Have you ever wanted to glance at your schedule and view your canceled and no-show appointments? Well, now you can. All canceled and no-show appointments now have a unique look that makes them easy to identify. Last but not least, we gave the Scheduler view a major overhaul. Now all providers and staff members will be able to access one, several, or all schedules. This enhancement will allow greater ease and flexibility when scheduling a patient in a busy practice.

This release includes the launch of our Dynamic Dashboard, the newest addition to its integrated practice management platform. The Dynamic Dashboard is a revolutionary new concept in chiropractic EHR software that has been designed to help improve office productivity by providing chiropractors with a clear picture of their practice’s performance and shortcuts to all the work that needs to be completed.

With this latest update, Providers can send patients an electronic statement or use an automated print and mail service to send out patient statements. Both options allow the patient to review their balance and securely submit payment from any web-connected device. As always, we continue to work on performance enhancements to make ChiroFusion faster and more stable. 

Version 8.5 Improvements. 3/5/2021

This latest release has been two years in the making and delivers a unique combination of proven experience and powerful technology to help practices become more agile and flexible in improving overall revenue cycle management. Our new enhanced user interface reflects a more intuitive navigation system and a friendlier color palette to reinforce our commitment to improving workflow efficiency.

Here are just some of what's new in ChiroFusion.

• Ability to save and store groups of CPT and ICD-10 codes.  
• Ability to view/print a visit list to ensure notes and charges are generated for all visits.
• Ability to calculate the expected reimbursement from Payers. 
• Ability to attach sale tax to products and run tax reports.
• Easier tracking of pre-paid plans by attaching visits to packages.
• Ability to edit claims prior to printing or sending.
• Ability to email receipts and statements to patients.
• Ability to set up family share plans.
• Ability to create billing alerts.
• Support for bulk posting of checks to easily apply payments and write off the remainder.

• Additional financial reports to track the posting of payments and adjustments.
• Ability to restrict certain users from billing functions and reports.

Our development team has continued to be busy adding new features and making serious improvements to ChiroFusion's speed and stability. New to our platform this month is an all-new updated user interface and improved workflows. 

 

ONLINE SCHEDULING HAS ARRIVED

ChiroFusion is proud to be the first and only chiropractic EHR vendor to offer integrated online scheduling. Your patients can now schedule appointments with your office 24/7 using any web-connected device. The online scheduling portal can easily be added to your website, social media accounts, and email signature. Best of all, online scheduling integrates with our digital intake forms to save you even more time.  

 

CUSTOMIZED MENUS

Many of you have been asking for the ability to customize the menus in ChiroFusion. We're in the process of putting some finishing touches on this enhancement which will be available by 4/12/19.

Drop menus that feature a plus "+" sign are customizable. You can easily add items to these menus simply by typing data into the menu's empty field and hitting the Enter key. To remove an item from a menu, simply click on the X icon next to the item you wish to delete. Menu customizations are Provider-specific, so each Provider can have their own unique set of customizations.  

 

BILLING & CLAIMS MODULE UPDATE

We continue to work tirelessly on a major update to the billing and claims module of the software and fully expect this update to be available to everyone by July 2019. This update will feature a fresh new user interface design with a ton of new features that will help to improve efficiency and collections in your office. 

 

PRACTICE MARKETING / REPUTATION MANAGEMENT

ChiroFusion is proud to have recently introduced our new patient marketing platform ChiroFusion RM. This new platform can help your practice to be found on the internet and make it the obvious choice for new patients in your area.
For your convenience, we have replaced the orange shortcut icon on our main interface with a new icon that directly links to ChiroFusion RM.

SCHEDULER CUSTOMIZATIONS
We have also launched a new scheduler customization that allows providers to set their own office hours. This allows for additional customization based on each provider's availability and breaks.

You asked and we listened. We have already initiated our Online Scheduling development project which will be available in January 2019. ChiroFusion will be the only Chiropractic EHR to offer true online patient scheduling. Your patients will have the ability to schedule their appointments from your website and social media accounts.

As part of our ongoing commitment to our client base over the past several weeks, we performed server optimizations and a server upgrade. Client satisfaction is of utmost importance to us and we have a full-time development team dedicated solely to maintaining our database & servers in an effort to ensure quality assurance for optimal security, speed, performance, and reliability for our users.
