Payer ID description in ChiroFusion doesn't match Office Ally site
It's common to find mismatches in the Payer IDs listed in ChiroFusion and those listed with Office Ally. This isn't a problem.
The ChiroFusion Payer ID database includes the majority of the Office Ally Payer IDs. Sometimes a single Payer ID can apply to up to 30 different insurance company entities and names. Instead of associating multiple insurance names to a single code, we simply attach it to the first alphabetical one on the list.
The Payer ID name does not transfer on electronic claims; however, you do have the ability to edit the name if you would like. This link will redirect you to the section of the user manual on adding/editing Payer IDs: 1.8 Payer IDs
Note: As long as the Payer ID is confirmed on the Office Ally website, it can be used to submit e-claims in ChiroFusion regardless of the name associated with it.
