This article covers the steps involved to delete a patient visit or encounter in billing.
Dates of service in the ChiroFusion billing module can be deleted from the Enter Charges or Approve Charges screen, as well as directly from within a patient's account. An insured encounter can be deleted even after it has been filed to insurance.
In order to delete an encounter, ensure that there are no payments or adjustments applied to the date of service.
