Changes to a patient's Primary insurance information are not updating in Billing

This article covers the steps to update a patient's Primary insurance policy in ChiroFusion.

ChiroFusion supports Primary and Secondary insurance profiles for a patient. This functionality gives you the ability to create unlimited Cases for a specific patient and attach unique insurance profiles to each Case. 

When there is only one active Case, you must terminate the current insurance policy effective dates before updating the profile with the new policy. This lets the system know that the prior policy is no longer applicable.
